 cursed by a god to be short and dry.  Small patches of foliage and moss
 appear to have grown here along the base of the ground, oddly enough in
 this dry forest.  Rain clouds can be seen peeking through the canopy of
 leaves, shadowing the stunted forest and teasing with droplets of rain.
 Very little animal life stirs in these woods, as if something has driven
 off the natural creatures.  Perhaps it is your imagination, or perhaps
 it is the ruins that lay further to your west.  The trail continues to
