> Second of all, cabal powers come from cabal items. That's the way it works. That way, if you lose the item, you lose your powers. Dawn is a cabal.
And you are explaining this to me for what reason?
You have *no* idea what you're talking about. Do you think the VIP flag gives you license to talk
How is this different from the uncaballed who constantly raid. Their powers aren't worth it.
Do Troupe members ever raid? They should have an item. That storytelling skill is way overpowered.
The idea being they come from a different source.. a power that allows them to continue their

out your ass? That's not how it works. When Dawn was originally created, as it was explained to me,
Dawn was about serving the lightwalking theran populace. I took that and ran with it. *I* felt that
a new lightwalking cabal would be perceived as the second coming of the Knights of Thera. I made sure
to push the idea that our mission was to help people *first*.. as it was explained to me. We didn't
want people running off to raid *insert evil cabal here* when they should be doing what Dawn's charter
states. This doesn't mean the Dawn have to be sheep... it doesn't mean Dawn has to bury their collective
heads in the sand everytime conflict arises. Rituraaj has been wreaking havoc on his pk range. I've
been a unwilling notch on his pk belt. The Maran and Dawnies were tired of it and decided to take it
out on him. Rituraaj happens to be sitting in his cabal (as we've seen for very good reason), so they
raid, and get the tar beat out of them. Why does this all of a sudden warrant them getting an item and
having to defend it. Did you ever have to deal with screaming
newbie lightwalkers (oh wait you were an arbie.. think you can relate). How difficult would be to be
the "beacon of Hope" in Thera when you are constantly loosing your item?
> Fine with me. However, they do spend their time raiding other cabals. Now it's unfair.
How is it unfair exactly? What.. it's unfair because they can communicate accross a cabal
channel while a group like the Maran can't? Golden aura, succor, altruism?? These are worth
having an item? These are formidable weapons in a pk situation? How about we dumb down the
entire cabal system.. take away *all* of the pk powers thus we can take away all of the
items. How fun would that be?
> I don't care how marginal their powers are; they come from a source, and that source was something different, something special, at first - because Dawn was an exception of a cabal.
mission even during Thera's "darkest hours". Not to sound condescending, but why is this difficult
for you to grasp?
