If you are 3-4 empire's against a lone rager at 40th rank, then you are a damn pathetic bunch if he kills you all.

Ok, I can see your point with spellbane/invokers. But a transmuter can kill any rager easily. An invoker can as well if he is smart.

Resist reduces damage by a third, if you wound someone with +35 damroll and an av 25 weapon, you should probably practice your chars skills in that weapontype above 30%.

Well, not many of the masters have 2100 hps. Anyway, it is rarely the added health that decides which way the battle goes when you fight a mage.
