Immortals are always saying that they put heaps of time into the mud whether it be coding, writing areas or IC stuff....This is obviously quite true. Ok, its fine to recieve credit for this work, but sometimes i feel like they think they are working for the mud, losing their time for the mud. The thing is its a game and they wouldnt be playing it unless they were having as much fun as everyone else. Making areas/coding is similiar to the enjoyment an artist or a designer might get. To produce something of your work and creative thoughts, then seeing other people enjoy it would be very satisfying. Not to mention how fun it would be to be god IC always being worshipped etc. I have a friend who used to code and write areas 10 hours a day. WHy? because he loved it, he loved how a whole player base got to see so much of his work. Are immortals putting in as much time, well that depends, some of us players spend more time on cf, time seems ilrelevant.
Do the players thank the imms, of course, do we owe them though.?...They having as much fun as us (perhaps more).
