1) do "help laws". this does not mean you gotta follow them, but it will show you what arbiters look for when flagging.

2) do "where protector". If you see a healer, you are in a protected city.
Yes this includes the rooms in galadon named "outside 'direction' gate", it also includes alot of the road north of new thalos. Even tho these are not inside the walls of the city, the territory is owned by the city, and patrolled by arbiters.

Now, all of the crossroads and outskirts right outside the city are fair game.

If you were standing in a room named "outside the 'direction' gate" you were NOT flagged wrongly.

If you were standing in a place where the "where protector" command does not show you anything, and you were flagged for that occurance, then the arbiter made a mistake.

Then note to Grallon, or Bria, either way, although usually better to go up the ladder, than jump up the ladder.

Contrary to popular belief, I DO try to investigate reports of corrupt arbies and arbies making mistakes.

Which brings me to a little pet peeve of mine. A double standard.

Having played numerous ragers, and a few arbiters, I can say this from unbiased first hand knowledge.

the players behind ragers sometimes have "accidents" multiple chars attacking one person, or attacking with uneven odds, sometimes they flee in time, but more often than not, this results in the death of the target(and the full loot, wich is all any rager does, and for good tactical reasons).

Now, the players behind arbiters sometimes make mistakes to. they are players just like you, they are not some force of corruption, 99% of the players who play arbiters actually TRY to rp the arbiter job well. But let us face it. this is a text based game, and for enforcement in such a game to be held to the same level of burden of proof as the real world, especially since death is NOT permanent in the game...is a bit unfair.

Yes Arbies make mistakes. I would say no more than 2 % of these mistakes are the result of corruptness instead of just the fact that there are human beings behind the arbies.

Yes I understand that a mistaken flag will cause death to most of the population of cf. But there are MANY ways against losing your close to it.

Here is my point after so much rambling.

Ragers "accidently" do things they are not supposed to...and as I have seen through my times as a rager...this happens more often than people realize. And the majority of people shrug this off and chalk it up to accidents.

Arbiters mistakenly flag sometimes. and through my times as an arbiter, this happens MUCH less often than people claim(most claims coming from people who actually did a crime but do not think the arby had enough proof) and people take this impression, and will ooc prejudge EVERY single arbiter they come in contact with, with EVERY char they have(read Pikel's post "I just do not have any respect for people who play arbiters")

This is a blatant double standard, also inlight of the fact that ragers "mistakes" have probably cost more than double the deaths and full loots than arbiters "mistakes".

ramble mode off.
I challange you to proove me wrong, or change my opinion through discussion and intelligent discours...of course, asking for such on this forum is like asking for a fourth wish from a genie.
