1) I think cabal leaders in general deserve the little extra perks they get. They give up a -lot- of time to interviewing, recruiting, and handling policy. With extra responsibility should come reward.

2) Yes, both Aradan and Peroleth clearly know what they are doing. (At present, I'd rather fight Zorszaul than Peroleth, but that's me.) But their skill in that respect doesn't matter. You don't only give them out to weak sect leaders, to prop them up. The Sect Leader powers should be given out like any other perk- to those who play their characters well. It's not easy to get to where they've gotten.

3) Empire's powers aren't so good to begin with. The sect leader powers generally don't even put them on par with a Rager, Warder, or Master. They're good, but they aren't overwhelming.

4) Yes, with all four powers, the Emperor will be quite tough. But isn't that how it should be? As Emperor, you have an awful lot of people who are looking for any opening to see you dead and disgraced. Some of those people are in your own cabal, actually. Plus, you're under a microscope from above- the IMMs will very closely watch you for mistakes. It's a tough life, and it takes an excellent player to hold the throne. PK deaths are the least of your worries.

> At the moment, the sectleaders do not have their special powers, and of course since there is no emperor there is no person with all four currently.
> My question is, do we need to give them out again?
> I dont see Aradan or Peroleth or the others having a hard time pk'ing (and that's all the powers are, pk tools -- they aren't roleplaying enhancing powers, like for instance troupe's powers). And since the purpose for the powers, their rationale, was to enhance the roleplay of the Empire, I dont see their need or value. Do you think peroleth or aradan or the others will all of a sudden change/improve their rp tomorrow becasue of these powers? Will they be better *roleplayers*, once they get the powers, for the weeks or months subsequent, because of the powers? No, obviously.
> Empire doesn't need more "powers." That's obvious from the pking of it's current sectleaders, sans sectleader powers. And I also didn't see any lack of desire by people for the sectleader positions, either. There were plenty of people who wanted the spots, or who were "roleplaying" by supporting their own candidates, if not themselves.
