Everything else eventually gets weaker after it is determined to be overpowered. Sure, liches needed all their tricks back before aura, shield, & barrier--but now it is pretty disgusting seeing a log of someone being killed by a necro who didn't bother using dopple & killed you without any pets using chromatic fire.
