My browser crashed as I was answering this (with verbose mode on) and I don't feel like trying to recreate my answers, so I'll keep this brief.

First of all, rank 40 is hardly "low ranks". Second, I've seen other classes raid cabals solo at level 40 just fine (hell, I've done it myself); does that make them overpowered too? Third, I think you'll agree that different classes are better at different things. Some classes are better at player-killing (eg necromancers and assassins), some are better at group support (eg healers), some are better at ranking, at raiding, at exploring, etc. Does any of that make these classes overpowered? There's a difference between a class being "tough" and being "balanced".

> Anyway, transplendat archons are overpowered... because...they were toned down :)... usually there is no need to make thing weaker if they aren't overpowered.

Actually, as a whole, archons were pumped up, not toned down. Not unless you did some coding for us that I'm not aware of.

Then again, if you're not fighting, it's just not all that useful is it? What if you're just exploring? What if you're hiding somewhere?

That tells you nothing at all of his location. You'd be better off having an air major go find him.

No, you can't avoid nightgaunts completely. If you could it'd be a useless ability.

And no, it's not "word wide summon".

Be prepared.

I'll give you a freebie then to get you started. If you can't be seen, you can't be seen.
