You think this is false? Take the most blatant example.

Ioanis wins every one on one. Not losing once. The others who at least won one fight, all gang him in the free for all. Good fighting all about.

And who is made leader. A rank 26 assassin. Who faught a mob in the rites. One who got booted from the village later in life.

Now tell me. Why? because the imms already had picked rezkirat for the leader position before the rites began.

The rites are good rp. they fit the village to a T. But when it comes to cabal leadership, the Imms will NEVER allow anything like chance to enter the equation. They always have a leader in mind before a Rites is announced.
