Its an argument of what goes into the text books and classrooms. There's no question or doubt of that. <br> <br>Frankly, I think berating Ohio's lesson plans or saying that they are counter productive is pretty lame. My reason for that is that, frankly, the education system in this country sucks. Its a failure and an obvious one. So anything that comes across as "holier than thou" or "I know better than you" from the people currently in charge of the coursework is going to strike me as misplaced. <br> <br>Do I think science has a place in our schools? Maybe. I'm not sure it deserves the place it currently *has* in our schools. The system has failed however, so its ironic that they're going to get up there and be cocky about it.
