I think its pretty hard to claim Democrats aren't playing politics for sound bytes when you have well known Democrats saying things like "A presidential veto on the child's health bill would be a political victory [for Democrats]." <br> <br>I'm not saying Bush isn't a douchebag, I'm just pointing out the obvious. They don't want to put in any concessions to get things done, they just want sound bytes about how the big mean Republicans are thwarting their efforts. If they were genuinely interested in improving things they wouldn't care about the sound bytes, they'd want to get bills passed.
