Damn, Grain Mills require 1250 food to build. Anyone have any advice?

I mostly get other resources up rather than food, since my own production is good for them but low for food (troops and builds). Anyone good at gathering food?

Get other resources from raiding and convert it to Crop with NPC merchant. nt
