Basically, it looks like CF crashes. CMud doesn't disconnect, it just stops showing anything. I try to manually reconnect, but it takes about 4-5 attempts before it'll actually connect. When I finally get back on, the game obviously hasn't crashed. I have a constant ping going in the background that shows nothing unusual before/during/after.

Any ideas?

Join the club. I don't know why it happens, but it does, to random people. I've had lots of groupmates that it happened to. It's odd, everything working perfectly and that happens.
