background: I used to play CF far long ago as a newbie. Now tried it again and is kinda addicted :) From the previous experience when I tried to kill red dragon at level 30 - was pretty bad beaten. When I tried explore high lord keep at level 40 same result. When tried to kill cavefisher in underdark at level 50 - same result.

Now I'm playing with warrior just because he is good at low levels and I would be able to get initial knowledge on areas. But I would like to figure out if I should stick to that warrior or should switch to conjurer once basic terrain knowledge is gotten.

Please share your view on potential of warrior as solo explorer (absence of identify doesn't matter).
