Never rolled a mage, I think the sleek search sounds fun. Best combo for this?

Yes I realize most people hope to find sleeks so they can be uber powerful, I just kinda want a char that can search for them relatively easily.

Was thinking probably going off/def shifter, I'd like to not make a Good Conjurer what would be best of the rest of the sleek search chars? Who has the easiest time getting sleeks solo?
