Hey guys, been away for a couple of years, rolled a char now and currently having mind-boggling experience with practicing spells. I'm talking 23int human with tome spamming for 20min straight to get something as basic as blindness or curse or teleport up for 1% from 74 to 75. No exaggeration. Literally from 74 to 75 in 20min. Sometimes a 15-20min session yields nada.
Way I try to practice spells up is the way I used for many characters in the past - go to/summon a weak-ass mob, sleep it, spam away. This way I've had sleep mastered in about 1-1.5hrs. All other spells also took about 1hr of spam to get to ~90. As I said above experience with current character is nowhere near these timestamps.

So my question being was practicing process changed in last 2 years and/or is there something I am missing? Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance
