Re: Noob Question

How do you deal with a paladin spamming wrath like that? as even with you bashing he still gets it off.
Is there any useful preps out there that are worth using to atleast reduce the damage from it?
Also does wrath bypass stoneskin, aura etc as I have still be hit as hard with those preps before. Does prov vs align help against it?

Cheers for any answers, its my main cause of concern when fighting Paladins, I just get hammered from wrath attack.

Between saves, stoneskin, and protection you can really downplay wrath

Resist positive too nt

Stoneskin score damage only appears to effect physical

Ayathkiran 310 September 17, 2013 12:36PM

Correction Stoneskin does not show on score damage

Ayathkiran 236 September 19, 2013 07:40AM

That means it is a flat, across the board dam redux. It's explained on the officials from when score damage was released. (n/t)

Score damage is broken, Shielf of eath gives resist blunt, but nothing in score damage

Dzeffo 240 September 17, 2013 09:29PM

Not all damage reduction shows.

Matrik 253 September 18, 2013 05:38AM

I am pretty sure it affects all damage types. (n/t)

Nurok 242 September 17, 2013 01:53PM

Makes sense to me

Splntrd 302 September 17, 2013 01:32PM

Stoneskin is a flat -20% DR. As a duergar you take 33% more damage from wrath, so stoneskin would lower your vuln to 13% extra damage (n/t)

Nurok 222 September 18, 2013 05:30AM

80% of 133% is closer to 107% (n/t)

Elystan 219 September 18, 2013 05:34AM

Fuck math - Stoneskin is better than no stoneskin for duergar vs wrath :P (n/t)

Nurok 210 September 18, 2013 05:35AM

There are resist positive preps out there, but none I know of that orcs can use (n/t)

Elystan 216 September 17, 2013 08:15AM

Wrath was going through because he never engaged the paladin. He was bashing the bard (n/t)
