I agree that not many people tried to bother me there, but it really just took 1 if you were already out of blood

If I used up everything in a fight you basically cannot re-gather blood through exsanguiate fast enough to get back on your feet.

most fights require 1 or 2 skins, tough fights can require 3-8. If you are toting around an enslave you have a pretty big restriction on your mobility which hinders your ability to control what fights you get in.

You basically need blood and/or slave for the overwhelming majority of encounters you see in the upper levels and if you run out and even just 1 person harasses you to keep you from restocking with oily skins you are basically ineefective (solo) for the rest of the login.

I also think that orcs are look disproportionally good at hero because of a couple of very high attention ones in the last few years and I suspect that 1 person accounts for like 70% of the chiefs in that time. I honestly think they just roll, hero, play to con death, roll another orc. How else do you explain the years of having orc chiefs who never participate in the forums, always play morning hours, and play out the same build over and over. Now he does lose the throne from time to time, but man he/she has had it a long long time

Just curious, is there lag associated with drinking elf blood?

Spronti 329 April 01, 2014 06:08AM

It sure makes trip lag openers tasty against non-Shig-ru orcs. (n/t)

Murphy 285 April 01, 2014 10:02PM

How many drinks do you get out of one wineskin? (n/t)

Anti-Hero 197 April 01, 2014 11:06AM

It was 5 drinks for ~400hp last I checked (n/t)

zoskia 188 April 01, 2014 12:47PM

No lag, and a mundunugu (like Ruknubuk) at that level gets 200 hp a drink, full heal in about 1.5 rounds of combat time

Quas 296 April 01, 2014 07:10AM

In the right hands, wineskins are way too powerful, they should be removed from the game

zoskia 312 April 01, 2014 09:33AM

Here's how I view it...

Death_Claw 302 April 02, 2014 06:40AM

Play an Orc: your view is extremely skewed

Nurok 309 April 02, 2014 06:19AM

As a serial orc player

zoskia 326 April 02, 2014 08:09AM

Yea...because they abused gluttony combined with speckled pills..which weigh less than skins

Nurok 283 April 02, 2014 09:10AM

Wineskins are a lot better than speckled pills

zoskia 293 April 02, 2014 12:43PM

They can be, but I also think your assessment of the need for oilies may be flawed

Quas 272 April 03, 2014 09:00AM

and all of that is besides the point crap that means dick.

Nurok 235 April 03, 2014 04:04AM

Think they've fixed drinking up above your max HP til the tick, within the past month

Dalbrin 213 April 02, 2014 01:30PM

Which made Quas happy he abused it before they changed it! NT

Sam 192 April 02, 2014 03:46PM

I did that intentionally maybe 6 times over the course of Ruks life

It's two people.

Frosty 279 April 01, 2014 10:23AM

Great info there. Makes me want to try orc ..Does the lvl of the elf mob matter at all on creating skins?? (n/t)

dan83 236 April 01, 2014 08:29AM

I may be wrong, but I think the number of drinks you will get from a bloody skin depends on the level of the mob it was made from. How much it heals per drink is dependant on the orc's level. (n/t)

Frosty 177 April 01, 2014 08:34AM

Normally, without edges that might effect it, I found one I made to be 3 drinks and ones i collected to be 4. (n/t)

Zruulg 189 April 01, 2014 11:42AM

it varies skin to skin, level of the elf makes some difference but pretty much any elf corpse over level 25 is the same, healing is orc level times 2 per drink, sanguin filter doubles that (n/t)

Quas 165 April 01, 2014 08:55AM
