Little light reaches this rough carved cavern. The round walls
show sign of great age though a lack of care and upkeep is clearly
evidenced. The cavern floor has a grooved path leading through
and alongside areas where stalactites and stalagmites continue to
expand and grow. The cavern mouth seems to lie easterly, while
straight west, along the path, the cavern seems to diminish in
size. A point of hazy golden light flickers in intensity,
eminating from what seems the very end of the cave.

revealing a grooved emblem in the soil. More light flows in from

The Main Altar of the Cathedral of the Holy Light
A large altar dominates the center of the cathedral here, carved of pristine
white marble and set into the highly polished floor which has been patterned
into the appearance of a circle of golden stars on a white field. Closer
examination of each star reveals that each represents one of the benevolent
gods that reign over the heavens. Small shrines to the various immortals lie

Role Subject The Greater Precepts of Judgment as an Ordained Magistrate.

Role + .
Role + .
Role + . I.
Role + .
Role + . All mortal men have choice. The choices made by the Spirit of
Role + . these, we men, shape our true moral character. Judgment befalls each of us
Role + . on the basis of how we choose to represent our choices, and enact them. Race,
Role + . kin, creed, or clan, we will all be Judged for our choices fairly.
Role + .
Role + . II.
Role + .
Role + . Personal convictions will guide personal Judgment, though in the greater
Role + . good of culture, community, the Ordained Codex will respect Order, and the Law.
Role + . Anti-Paladin guilds will be protected as fiercely as the Paladin's guild.
Role + . Fairness exists for all citizens who obey the Law. Respect, and listen.
Role + .
Role + . III.
Role + .
Role + . Magistrates are not to be Judged. Your peers are your equals, your students,
Role + . and your teachers. Learn from, and counsel those you walk alongside. The lifeblood
Role + . of the Spire is all those you serve with. Magistrates of all walks are expected to
Role + . be treated as your most respected allies. The Ordained Codex of Lord Marcatis will
Role + . recognize there are rare an occassion that a Magistrate of a darker soul may walk
Role + . within the Blood Tribunal. Due to the nature of rigorous testing and strict adherance
Role + . to holy vows, this is the only time you may, and are expected, to associate with
Role + . anyone of such.
Role + .
Role + . IV.
Role + .
Role + . There is no place for vengeance, grudges, or grievance as an Ordained Magistrate.
Role + . Your mind must be clear of such hate to Judge properly. The eyes of Justice are blinded
Role + . folded so that she may not look upon the accused with favortism. You must learn to stay
Role + . your mind, steel your nerve, and keep the Codex of Marcatis ever closer to your heart.
Role + .
Role + .
Role + .
Role + . These are my Precepts to Judgement, a continuing works in ode to Lord Marcatis.
Role + .

Role Subject

Marcatis says 'You have posited a basis for judgment of law and order, that being culturally situated.'
Marcatis says 'Now explore the same idea for good versus evil.'
Marcatis says 'What is good, is it equally situated? Why or why not?'
Marcatis says 'Do you have any questions?'
You say 'Yes.'
Marcatis says 'Do pose it.
You say 'I would like to find counsel among men, and women. Other than the Provost,
whom I have yet had a chance to speak with in private, would you suggest a priest or
such person I might seek out?'

note + .
note + .
note + . Report: Criminal Behavior - Kip
note + .
note + . Crimes of Trespass: Kip was warranted for violating Law Four. Trespass into
note + . the Spire. I have warned him on several occasions repeatedly to not enter the
note + . foyer before the Captain, ever. This is not legal grounds for citizens to enter. I
note + . have personally been attacked by Kip in the past within the great cities and know
note + . his moral character to have no regard for the Law. During the course of a raid, Onya
note + . was striking the Captain while Kip was present. I was not tending to Kips presence
note + . immediately because I was on fire. After Onya was made to flee, I warranted both
note + . of them for Intrusion on the Spire. Both were there beyond a reasonable time, both
note + . have reasonable knowledge to not be there. I feel I have made every opportunity to
note + . show Kip leniency in warning him on multiple occasions to leave the Spire when he has
note + . entered. In light of this being a raiding situation, I used my judgment to weigh a
note + . heavier hand against him. They were both warranted accordingly.
note + .
note + . Crimes of attacking a Guildguard - Kip was heard through my vigilant ears to be
note + . assaulting the Conjurers guildhall whilst on duty in Voralian City. I heard the
note + . wild yell for help from mine own Guild. Talanus did strike guildguard first to get
note + . to Sarin, then Kip was heard striking soon after. I have discussed this matter with
note + . Tryphen and feel confident in my warrant. Kip is a known criminal, a known vagrant
note + . whom has broken the Law on several occasions with no reservations to lie his way
note + . out of a warrant. His moral character is lacking at best. With no witnesses willing
note + . to speak on his behalf at the time, and Kip himself having no credibility, this warrant
note + . I feel was credible and I placed it accordingly. The Guildguard was assaulted,
note + . and rightfully Kip was warranted for violation of Law Three.
note + .
note + . End of follow up report.
note + .
note + .
note + . Magistrate Fzoarn, Voralian City.

Marcatis says 'For many, thinking and knowledge is a thing of old age, not the young.'

Marcatis nods.

Marcatis says 'Return when you have found your answers.'

Good is essentially what each individual deems is correct.

Nothing makes you correct. All you can do is live your life,
conducting yourself in the manner you decide for yourself is correct.

The fact that I stand behind my idea of correct, in the face of adversity
and what not, my convictions, etc, because i believe in it, all that jazz?

Douglas Leas: yep

Role subject What is truly Good?

role + . The Light, a pure and wonderous force. Many have tried to harness it, many
role + . have died to defend it, even more have died in the name of it. Who can truly
role + . stand as mortals and claim to bastion such when they too, are mortals. I am
role + . no more perfect than any man who walks this land. I strive to be, and in all
role + . that I do, I try to be. The greater virtues of my Codex I hold dear to my
role + . heart, and heavy I carry it.
role + .
role + . Does the Light shine its brightest when the Maran disregard my authority and
role + . slay those they judge against in cold blood? Forcing the hand of good hearted
role + . Magistrates against them? Does the Light shine its brightest when I must defend
role + . an Orc in the great township of Voralian City against a faithful Shaman?
role + .
role + . I seek peace in this world, and I will defend the great cities with Order, using
role + . Law to protect and keep it. The Light does indeed shine bright as it ever may,
role + . with the actions and intentions that I, that I strive to keep peace, teach the
role + . ways of the Law to citizens, and lay my Judgment fairly among all who will respect
role + . one another. The community is for all who will live within it peacefully, I am
role + . willing to see this.
role + .
role + . Just as I have assumed to My Lord as Law, Order, my basis to Judge the cultures
role + . abroad for what is right and wrong, I continue to posit my these judgments of
role + . what I believe is right, within myself. As I personally see and judge the world,
role + . from mine own eyes, I deem what is to be Right, from my own teachings passed down
role + . from Lalenhi, through the Codex I have lived my life by.
role + .
role + . When the Captain of the Fortress himself talks down to me like I am an animal,
role + . demands of me to pledge myself to his own, I do not see Good, in these actions. When
role + . Paladins of my own guild leave me lost and afraid among the deep caverns of drow
role + . where I know not my way, I do not see Good, in these actions. When reknown warriors
role + . of the Light insult me to my face, turn their backs and walk away with no care to
role + . what I might have to say, I see no Good, in these actions. I will judge what is
role + . Good, but the actions of those that choose to act in fashion. Race and creed alone
role + . speaks very little to me. I have walked a long, lonely journey where I have and
role + . will continue to answer for my own convictions, my own actions, and I will do so
role + . honorably for what all I do, I do with Good intentions, and for the Greater Good
role + . as well.
role + .
role + . True Purity, will come above personal gain, above personal goals. True actions of
role + . the Light will supercede mere desires to slay a duegar, a drow, spilling blood
role + . in a town market. I give no quarter to the wicked, no succor to those that exploit
role + . the weak, however I will not stand idle and pretend that those whom claim to raise
role + . their blades in the name of the Light are righteous when their actions have proven
role + . otherwise in the past, too.
role + .
role + . All I can do is life my life as best as I believe I know to be what is right, and as
role + . long as I stand fast behind my beliefs and do not stray, I am right, I am righteous,
role + . and in Lord Marcatis's name, the Light guides my faith.
role + .

of the individual Sect Symbols. Each of these details pass quickly, for
your eye is almost immediately drawn to the black stone cross rising from

Desc + You see a matured man and scrutinize his characteristics.
Desc + His solemn hazel eyes have a conservative, yet patient gaze
Desc + to them. The whites of his eyes are slightly glossed over
Desc + but still very healthy looking. His skin is of average tan
Desc + for a Galadonian native by the seasoned pigment. The freckles
Desc + on his face appear to concentrate under his eyes and across
Desc + the bridge of his stubby, crooked nose. His nose is slightly
Desc + curved to one side like that of a brawlers. His brow lays
Desc + heavy and bears over his eyes. Bushy auburn eyebrows are thick

Desc + The stature of his body appears to be very fit. His muscles rope

Frosty 244 January 01, 2015 06:27AM

I still can't believe you leadered that one character. While you were playing another character I bitched. Frosty, you so funny. NT
