Atop the Domed Roof of the Temple of the Glacial Lord
The staircase that has led this way ends upon the roof of the temple. Walls
of gray stone have been erected to keep the wind from blowing things off the
area, but they have not been raised high enough to create a ceiling. Instead,
the sky is clearly visible overhead. Even with the barriers to the air that
moves along the mountainside, the wind is strong as it makes its way from
above into the enclosure built by them. Upon the walls in each direction is
a large letter so that those who take time to sit upon the roof can tell which
direction the wind comes from.
An aura of cold fills this area, dropping the temperature below freezing.

The Antechamber of the Glacial Lord
A large room opens up with four exits in different directions. The cavernous
room is made of frozen stones that are completely square and fit exactly next
to each other. Statues of frozen warriors decorate the hall, their weapons
raised as if they were made in the middle of a strike. Frost lines the hall,
completely covering everything as would be expected inside a glacier. In the
middle of the room is a large blue bonfire. While it radiates heat, the fire
does not seem to affect the ice at all. While a sense of war can be felt in
the area, a sense of serenity also fills it.

The plains end here at the border of a large forest. The tall grass
begins to give way to small bushes and other undergrowth. The wind
is not as strong here next to the trees as in the open plains. The
trees are very dense, and with the hedges between them all possible
openings into the forest are blocked. An old dirt trail has been
beaten through the plains here, though for what purpose seems
undiscernable. There are no apparent tracks on the trail, human,
animal or otherwise. The trail continues to the north and south,
while the plains stretch out before you to the east.
