That not being a murder e'erbody type is boring to you? The game needs flyto murder shifters and 'reavers, I suppose.

There are certainly some items that are RQ - someone has it, well that's that. However the idea that you can get 'best in slot' or the best set only with request, well just keep thinking that.

What do I do with my fort characters? I try a different class, I try a different god/religion that maybe doesn't totally fit "destroy evil", I try a specific angle on being 'good', I try to in some way change the perspective of the branch of the fort I'm in, I role play with the other members and the playerbase in general, whether that means I go out of my way to help everyone without a red aura or try to talk a duergar into redemption. Point is - there are plenty of things to do in Fortress that keep me interested in playing CF. Playing a character for more than just PK, it's good for the game, it's good for the playerbase. Doesn't mean you can't still have another pc, much like Cainasir apparentlywas, kill everyone, low hanging fruit by low hanging fruit.
