We don't know details

1. There might have been a skirmish before.
2. Emperor has right to interpret Imperial Law to whatever fuck he wants it to be. Like "healing my immolation in a city is basically the same as striking me in the city, hence rule # 234 applied".

Caecilius is playing a very thin edge bastardly role, and the player is VERY knowledgeable with imperial law nuances, that's for sure.

Our Hero, Lohkti's shield: The story of a poor evil never living up to expectations

Is a "shield" in CF the same thing as a "beard" for gay men?

I find it weird that emperor is breaking the law. Or did Lhotki attack him before in the city? (n/t)

I'm fairly certain there are circumstances in which an Imperial could be following Imperial Law but breaking Tribunal Law (n/t)

Of course. But in the logs we've seen he breaks imperial law. It's character assassination. (n/t)

Yes that's why these kind of logs are bad

Pretty much my reaction when I saw the first log. You would expect a cabal dedicated to eradicating evil....
