The Southern Tir-Talath Road 
  The dusty trail continues to the north and south flanked by plains on the
west and a small forest to the east.  The trees run very close to the road,
making the threat of ambushes from brigands very likely on this portion of
the road.  Air is often filled with a cottony substance that comes from the
dark trees on the side of the road.  A large pillar of dark smoke rises
