It is, however, an IC punishment, not like they called you to RoTD for breaking role. And you can roleplay a change of heart and start killing all villagers because you now see the village is full of hypocrites. It's hard to do coherently, but the character is not ruined!

However, the idea of exchanging stuff does not fit CF. Any measure of sympathy for you relies on Koelegh agreeing to the trade. For example, if you tried to pull that trick on a Tribunal mage, they would have to suck it up, and YOU would end up looking like a dick.
