The Center of Market Square 
  Here at the heart of the city the din of the crowds mingles with barkers
and traders and drunken sailors on shore leave.  A large fountain spreads
across the square in a shape of a six pointed star and many people sit along
the raised stone edge above the cool waters engaged in conversation. Wandering 
among the merchants, jugglers, snake charmers, prostitutes and clergymen you 
find your hands clasped tightly around your purse for fear of being over-
whelmed by the confusion and robbed blind.  Outside the tents and tables that 
are scattered through the throng a ring of shops encloses the square.

Huge pillars support an arched ceiling far above your head.  The Sultan's
strongarms march the perimeter of the vault, ensuring the safety of his
subjects' valuables.  A red carpet extends from door to vault, laid between
the fine silver that separates the polished blocks that make up the floor.

  This area of the Square seems a bit more subdued than the rest. You notice 
that most of the outland adventurers mill around the southern end of the 
market, while the townfolk seem to keep their business in the northern end. To 
the west the outer walls of the Great Temple form a border to the Square, with
prophets and urchins resting against the consecrated stones.  The market 
sprawls in all other directions.
