Casting sleep in combat doesnt lag

That's the problem. Although if you had space between hearbeats or something you'd realised you'll be smacking him for however many times he over-spammed sleep.

To the antipaladin it's more like: You can't concentrate enough to cast sleep

So if you went all tripping you'd likely get the chance to perma-lag, esp with cheap shot.

To thief:

This is what happened:
AP is spamming sleep OR some sort of bad trigger I dont want to speculate.

You garrotte - two round lag for you
AP is spamming sleep, one pulse per sleep, gets the message that he is already fighting
AP Flees
AP comes back after 1 round
AP attempts another sleep

Totally normal

he could have been spamming a different target to sleep.

I've noticed with a fair number of spells (sleep in particular)

Adenith 386 February 03, 2017 02:23PM

It's that way with all spells, even if you don't know it.

Murphy 275 February 03, 2017 08:00PM

Untrue. A battlerager gets an echo from the cast command instead

Nurok 283 February 04, 2017 04:30AM

Yes, he will see that echo, and everyone around the rager will see him utter "grzzs". (n/t)

Murphy 204 February 04, 2017 04:41AM
