Personally I like to type "who pk" and see more than just myself on there.
The majority of the people that play this game aren't as obsessed as the handful of idiots posting here. They don't play for 10 hours a day or play characters that people talk about for years after they're gone. But they do play the game, even if they often serve as fodder for the few who take CF more seriously. Most importantly, they're not afraid to die. Those are the players you're attempting to drive away.
You are describing me, before the ban. I was the fodder.

A policy of full-sac every time would make me do one of two things.
1. Stop playing. As often as I die, I'd be spending half of my log-ins gathering basic regear and pies. That part of the game is not fun.
I encourage you to try limiting your equipment to non-limited and regearable within ghost timer. You'll do better than I think you think you'll do. Double challenge would be to do strictly outfit gear. I do suggest at least a higher average weapon though. I die a lot too, that's how I know for CF can be fun both when you die and when you win.

2. Start playing extremely conservatively. If I don't want to spend time regathering the same pieces of gear for the 20th time, maybe I'll just stop doing things that will result in my death.
Or stop spending that time that you already admitted you hate. I don't know why some of you insist on doing things you hate so much.

The results would be the same for the majority of the playerbase. Which of those is preferable? Either way your end result is fewer people online, and fewer PKs across the board.
Obviously I disagree here. One person inserting their self as the majority happens a lot around here. Everyone thinks they are the majority. Maybe you aren't. I've had multiple private messages supporting my arguments. At least as many as publicly deny them.

And this seems pretty obvious, but you refuse to admit it: This would change literally nothing about the players with the high-end gear.
I've killed high end gear wearers as a character with shit gear. It's not my fault no one gives it a shot. They are too busy protecting their stack of fly potions to bank on a hard RNG fuckening. I'm absolutely terrible at this game and can still find a modicum of success. I don't understand where you hardcore players find the mentality that you need all that shit to win a fight now and then.

Koidel died zero times. Do you think that would change if he knew he would lose 100% of everything when he died? Obviously not. How often do you think Undemelm dies now? Do you think he would take MORE risks if he knew the 100s of hours he spent gathering his set would be wasted? Of course not.
Maybe you like CF the arcade game. I like CF the roleplay game. If your enemies aren't taking risks, it means you win. Take their cabal item and enjoy your victory.

And honestly, what's the problem that you're trying to fix? Clearly it isn't the small playerbase since you've said on multiple occasions you aren't worried about people quitting because of your bullshit, and you aren't interested in recruiting new players. So what are you trying to solve? Some arbitrary goal of having fewer "soft" players? What the fuck does that even mean?
No one is quitting "because my bullshit." I can't even play the game. If someone gets fulled, it's not by my hand. My goal is to solve every recently whined major complaint. Full loot + sac policy fixes them all. From edge point tears to perma tears.
