Base of the Mountain
Like the crooked tooth of a great dragon, the mountain tears from
beneath the ground rising into the sky. A single jagged peak fades from sight
into a ring of clouds encircling it. As you stand at the beginning of a wide
road you can see that it has been cut into the mountain's side, with a small
wall along the outward edge for safety. Giant stones have been cut and set
perfectly into the ground with such skill that even ten feet would seem to
take near a lifetime of work. It twists its way almost directly up towards the
peak. A small inscription has been carved into the mountain side.
