It is not like comparing apples and oranges, you're wrong. Doom and Hexen were oranges, most others were green beans. Not a whole serving, single green bean. There was one steak, however. Single player and multiplayer atmosphere.

Especially if you had Quakefinder or whatever that program was that hosted multiplayer old games and you could search for RP games where no one wanted to fight, then go in as an Imperial and make everyone mad by blasting all who resisted your orders. They were the ones who weren't RPing! I was following Imperial protocol.
