Nobody called anyone. I'd bet a paycheck. As Murphy (and any basic 3rd grader would know), if you're hunting a cabal member, particularly a leader, always check their enemy cabals. The rager didn't call anyone. The fortress came because they were hunting Glik and even a moron like Mharldouche can figure out that if you hunt Glik, go look for him at other cabals.

Also, for those making the absurd comments about mages coming to defend the village, please stop being so stupid. Really. And I'm holding back. People go where they think they can get the fight they want. The came because they were looking for Glik. People go to the battle cabal all the time for that because they want to get someone in a no-recall. They would have come regardless whether the rager was there. Has nothing to do with defending a rager, or the rager cabal.

Mages aren't going to the village to defend villagers or the cabal. It's a game of people trying to kill each other. You go where you will find your enemy. Period.
