  Beneath the sculpted bronze tablets that continue from the lower nave
to the north, prayers of the Cult are carved into the polished stone
between the soaring buttresses.  Pews are spread out radially from the
south where three steps lead into the chapel of the grand altar room
and apse.  The stained glass set high into the walls are circular works
of dark glass and translucent stone.  To the north a short flight of
polished steps leads down to the lower nave.

Western Transept 
  A tower of stone and wood and stained glass rises up around you 
towards the painted dome some ten spans above.  A grim sculpture of a 
skeletal figure stands over a gilded rack of squat candles, each lit by
a member of the Cult and snuffed out later should the blessings of the
Father be upon them.  To the east the altar and reliquary sit upon the
dais of the inner sanctum.  To the north a hallway dark with shadow
leads away from the transept.

Hall of Shadows 
  Dimly burning brands provide little light along the narrow hall that
skirts the western perimeter of the Temple.  The sloping ceiling above
is lost in darkness and grim paintings loom in the shadows along the
eastern wall.  The dark hall continues to the north and the hall ends in 
the western transept to the south.  A door leads east.

Hall of Shadows 
  Brands that have burned out leave this narrow hall in near-complete
darkness.  The stone buttresses that slope upwards into the recesses of
the shadowed ceiling end to the north where the hall ends in an unadorned
alcove.  Ashes and charred bits of wood tumbled from the raised platform
in the alcove onto the dressed stone floor.  To the east lies a door.  To
the south the hallway leads between the rows of buttresses into the light.
