Posting logs keeps people interested and vested in the game. It can lure back players who have stopped playing. (I, for one, really think hard about coming back as I read through these logs recently. Although I just don't have the time.) Also, noobies get to learn a trick or two by reading the logs.

Don't worry about posting active chars. Just don't post their loot if at all possible.
