In fact, it's not too different from the way I tend to play most good-align characters.
However, it is not the ONLY way to look at things. Neutral is different from Good. Neutral aligned characters sometimes do bad things. If they do those bad things, such as helping/protecting truly evil people, it is not "wrong" roleplay to kill them. It just needs to be carefully justified.
Killing Tarus for his bracers is probably not good, but if you can come up with legit RP-reasons (ie, Tarus is in league with the evil lumberjacks of the Weald and is intentionally destroying the forest rather than harvesting responsibly.. and you like the forest, a whole lot), you're fine. And if hey, these bracers are kinda cool too.. all the better.
You should always be able to justify, IC, why you're killing someone. Evil is evil (because they're evil, duh). Neutral means you might need to think about it, or even pass up some good gear (or easy PK) if there's no IC reason for it.
My answer to you, Funnyone, would be that you would probably get hemmed up because, in general, your OOC frustration and annoyance shines through your characters more than legitimate RP. But if you actually played a real role with a strong justification, you'd be fine to behave the same way Drissa (and countless others) did.
