The Light Forest Trail 
  A small dirt trail winds through the dark forest leading south.  The
surrounding forest is strangely quiet.  The trail leading off to the
west heads towards a small clearing, while the path south leads off
into darkness and silence.  A small sign can be seen nailed on one of
the larger trees.

The Dark Forest Trail 
  The dark trees reach towards the heavens and block out the sky.  A
thin mist covers the dirt trail that continues off to the north and
east.  To the north the forest seems to lighten, while the mists that
cover the ground grow thicker to the east.

  The trail can no longer be seen, though the surrounding dark forest
almost forces you around.  Breaks in the trees can be seen to the 
south and west.  A thick mist hangs a few feet off the ground making
you unable to see the ground.  You realize that you've not seen any
animal life, nor heard anything but your own breathing in quite some
time.
