Rolling Foothills 
  The gently rolling foothills spread out as far as you can see. The hills are
not high but get steeper as you go north and slope down to the south. The hills
are covered with tall grass and a few flowers can be seen blooming here and
there. Far to the north you can see towering mountains rising from the
foothills. A cool breeze blows across your face and the grass waves gently in
its passing. To the south the foothills seem to open up on to a vast plain and
a small column of smoke can just be made out on the horizon.

Rugged Foothills 
  Here the foothills rise up high in to the air and then drop down just as
sharply. Rocks litter the ground ranging in size from small pebbles to rocks
larger then you. You can tell much of the landscape has been created by
rockslides. Small plants struggle to survive in these ever changing hills.
Mountains rise up to the sky in the north while the foothills spread out all
around you.

A Trail Through the Hills 
  Situated between two large piles of rock, a perfectly formed trail 
leads up into the hilly landscape.  The beginning of the trail is marked
with two large boulders on either side.  One of the boulders appears
to have a bit of writing chiseled into it.  The trail continues to
the north, sloping upwards with a slight incline.  On each side of it,
various piles and pillars of stone mark and line it, keeping travelers
from straying.  Beneath your feet, the trail begins to be paved with
different kinds of stones, assembled together nearly like a jigsaw
puzzle.  Bricks, cobblestones, pebbles, and slabs of various sandy 
rocks all comprise the tightly fit pathway.  The stones give way to
the south, leading out to rocky, rugged foothills.
