I recall getting into it with a trib over songs a few times

March 20, 2019 09:11AM
One was trying to say any offensive song ever is basically flaggable, even if nobody gets harmed by it. Because it might harm someone I didn't know was there, or I might be trying to harm someone I am unable to see.
Which is bullshit, but yeah, some tribs just make it up as they go.

I've also been warned about revealing tribs who sit in hide. Something about interfering with their duty or some BS. I stated their duty does not require them to be hidden from view, and my song did not harm them. And if they are hiding from their enemies or whatever, they're not protecting the city, so screw them.

And then of course lullaby. No yell, no injury. They're just napping. Sure, they can't wake up, but if it is a crime couldn't anyone sleep in market, claim a bard did it, and get them flagged. Since unless the trib tried to wake them, how would they know otherwise. And even if so, how do they know the sleep was not self induced.

Tribs. Just kill them all.

Do the crime, do the time

After seeing your elemental making earthquakes I expected to see you get flagged and killed at the end. ;) (n/t)

Frosty 299 March 19, 2019 05:39PM

That would not be a crime from anyone on duty

Tadam 452 March 19, 2019 06:44PM

What do you mean "laws are suspended"? It's a harmful spell. You don't use area spells no matter what. (n/t)

Kstatida 295 March 20, 2019 12:51AM

Whta Java said, but that being said there have been tribs who tried to enforce no offensive area spells EVEN IF in persuit of a criminal.

Just discussing the absurdity of Tribunal

zannon 372 March 21, 2019 03:20AM

What you are bitching about is what makes Tribunal fun.

jalim 369 March 21, 2019 04:38AM

What you are saying is why the law is BS

mcbeth 367 March 22, 2019 03:14AM

You are missing the point entirely.

Java 352 March 21, 2019 07:11AM

Straight from the laws helpfile: Being that the punishment of a criminal is the supreme lawful act, Tribunal members may set aside any of the above laws during the course of their duties, as long as innocents are not harmed. nt

Java 345 March 20, 2019 03:07AM

Oh ok

Kstatida 344 March 21, 2019 09:01AM

With your spicy title I thought there would be more going. (n/t)
