Classy as always Jalim,

I don't play CF anymore, and when I did tribs were never a problem for me to begin with because 90-95% of them are never a threat even if you are wanted, hell you can just exploit, and being flagged is at most a mild inconvenience once you know what you are doing. I struggle to remember anytime I ever died to a trib when wanted once I figured out how to move around in CF. All trib does it really make life a little more difficult for newer players.

I just think the cabal could be better constructed.

I do actually agree with Java though.
The cabal would be pointless without an open legal system that enables all this for the sake of RP. But I think it is detrimental at best to even have an open legal system to begin with, just to try and create RP (empire serves as en enemy cabal already). Because the only way for the cabal to work at all is for it to be inherently flawed.
Which is why the cabal is garbage.
Or I should probably just say could be made much better.

Again, all moot points since there is no staff to actually do any work to make significant changes to the MUD from what I can see.
Where's Zulgh when you need him.

Do the crime, do the time

Tadam 857 March 19, 2019 04:28PM

After seeing your elemental making earthquakes I expected to see you get flagged and killed at the end. ;) (n/t)

Frosty 299 March 19, 2019 05:39PM

That would not be a crime from anyone on duty

Tadam 452 March 19, 2019 06:44PM

What do you mean "laws are suspended"? It's a harmful spell. You don't use area spells no matter what. (n/t)

Kstatida 295 March 20, 2019 12:51AM

Whta Java said, but that being said there have been tribs who tried to enforce no offensive area spells EVEN IF in persuit of a criminal.

I recall getting into it with a trib over songs a few times

You're kinda all over the place here.

Java 450 March 20, 2019 09:43AM

Just discussing the absurdity of Tribunal

zannon 372 March 21, 2019 03:20AM

What you are bitching about is what makes Tribunal fun.

jalim 369 March 21, 2019 04:38AM

What you are saying is why the law is BS

Longest reply to "u have a butt stick n/t" ever?? Nt (n/t)

mcbeth 367 March 22, 2019 03:14AM

You are missing the point entirely.

Java 352 March 21, 2019 07:11AM

Straight from the laws helpfile: Being that the punishment of a criminal is the supreme lawful act, Tribunal members may set aside any of the above laws during the course of their duties, as long as innocents are not harmed. nt

Java 345 March 20, 2019 03:07AM

Oh ok

Kstatida 344 March 21, 2019 09:01AM

With your spicy title I thought there would be more going. (n/t)
