a tall, narrow building with an iron plaque next to its door, and to the 
south stands a large stone building, its high bell tower marks it as the 
cathedral. The quiet paved street continues to the east and west.

iron lamp posts are placed at the exits of the circle, and a large wooden 
pillar has been constructed in the center of the circle. Various notices, 
letters and pictures litter the entire surface of the pillar, and iron 
arrows have been placed on top of the pillar as a guidepost. A small manhole 
has been dug just off center in the circle.

  All of the window spaces have oddly been boarded over and reinforced with 
iron strips. To substitute the natural light, sconces have been crookedly 
placed over the boards, providing little illumination to the narrow, crowded 
room. The small space serves as a sitting, dining and kitchen area. While 
the area is tidy, the entire room has a worn-down, used appearance from the 
tattered sofa to the wobbly table. No fancy adornments or pictures hang upon 
the walls, leaving the space bland and lifeless. A narrow staircase set into 
the southern wall leads up to the second story, and a door to the east exits 
out to the quiet city streets.

A Sleeping Chamber 
  A single iron lantern hangs from the low ceiling, providing only the dimmest 
of light to the windowless room. Two straw mattresses have been placed on 
the floor in either corner, and several thin faded quilts and yellowed 
sheets cover the humble pallets. A small shelving unit consisting of a few 
cubby holes has been built into the northern wall. The rest of the bedroom 
lacks any adornments, leaving it just as dull as the entrance below. A 
narrow staircase is set into the southern wall, and leads down to the main 
chamber of the house.
