A Dark Trail Going up Into the Mountains
  A faint trail starts off the riverbank to the west.  It is barely traveled,
covered in small weeds and pebbles, but just enough worn to see it meander up
along the steep, pitch black mountainside, disappearing in the unwelcoming
darkness.  A few stunted, sad excuses for trees valiantly attempt to grow on the
rocky grounds around you, with no great success, some being outsized by the few
dry tufts of tall grass swaying in the wind.  Aside the gurgling of the warm
river and the quiet whispering of the wind, the area seems even ominously quiet,
lacking any sounds of animals or such.  With some effort, you could probably
follow the trail up, or return back to the river.
