A Rocky Mountain Pass 
  The path here narrows slightly and follows the contour of the mountain,
meandering mildly along the base.  From your elevated vantage point, the
scenery of the plains is breathtaking, as your eyes are able to sweep
across them in a mere second.  A large eagle glides in wide circles in the
sky, in search for prey.  Compact bird nests are tucked into nifty crags
and corners, and they banter good-naturedly in their different calls and
chirps from unseen high places.  Little flowers have made their homes in
the holes and dents all over the wall.  More of the mountain pass can be
seen to your north, while a path leading to the plains lies to the south.
The solid rock surface of the mountain stares at you to the west, while
only thin air leads off the high cliffs to the east.

An Overgrown Trail 
  Although cleared some time not too long ago, as evidenced by the newly 
toppled trees, the trail has begun to become overgrown with weeds and briars,
due to apparent lack of use. A large tree to the side of the trail has been
felled, leaving only a stump protruding three feet from the earth. Chiseled
into the stump are some symbols you cannot quite make out. To the west lies
the main mountain path, and to the east looms a large wooden structure.
