this end of the arena.  Massive stone stairs spiral upwards, towards 
the seats that give audience to the battles within the Arena.  Long 
corridors, shadowed by the belly of this Coliseum stretch east and
west, continuing to feed the crowds into the belly of this Coliseum.
To the north, a great iron gate is used to usher forth the participants
in the arena.  Here those lucky enough to be slaves fight their lives 
out in hopes to gain some measure of survival.  Those who are foolish
enough to enter this gate usually find one of two fates.  DEATH or
VICTORY are the only ways to leave the arena and the most brutal of
opponents wait within.
