*** Skill failures didn't help, but I got my tactics wrong here in general. Stopping to try to heal was my real blunder - I should have pressed. I also should have practiced dirt kick, but I usually don't find myself fighting many orcs/conjurers which are the matchups I tend to get mileage out of it in. In the end I could have learned it anyway as I decided to use one of my old age trains for some other skills, but I never did.
