Father Morius,

Far be it for me to stand between anyone and their faith. All Therans would be
better off if they had more purpose in their lives and many wouldn't have to
send themselves early to my Lady Rarywey having given up hope to be anything
more than they are.

To this end I'm responding to Viera's request that I write to you about her.

I remember Viera when she was very young. Back then she had not embraced sloth
to the extent that she has now. She was young and eager for power. She came to
me for help because she knew she was destined for greatness and she knew where
power and magic were channeled in their rawest form, with me. Call it pride if
you wish, but I've known my own worth and value for a very long time. I admired
that she came to me to ask for help to greater access magic as an apprentice.
Prideful I may be, but I'm an elf. Her guild naturally screams unholy things in
my heart and soul, yet..perhaps I felt I could influence her in a positive way,
to save her from herself before she delved too far towards the darkness that
ever consumes such creatures. It wasn't to be.

Viera learned what she could from me, I like to think more than a small bit, but
after many years of tutoring I deduced she was destined for horrible feats of
darkness.

I was helping young adventurers grow in their guild and she ran upon them,
taking their souls and putting them into her weapon. I ceased any sort of
efforts at aiding her to be better at that point. I've seen her delve deeper and
deeper into darkness and I now consider her to be one of the greatest beacons of
hopelessness and evil in Thera, and she does it all in your name.

She is unnaturally violent and beautiful, like a chaotic storm of mana and power
that throws itself towards it's target in a calculated and cunning way. She is
well spoken, many individuals in Thera speak highly of her whether they be
villagers or take up arms in the Fortress of Light. In fact I have heard more
Paladins say positive things about her intelligence and beauty, how she carries
herself, and how she fights than negative. I truly say the Fortress of Light has
complimented her in discussions more than berated her, and that itself is
telling about her demeanor.

She is prideful, vain, angry, hungry, and beneath it all it takes minimum effort
on her part. I believe she is a true embodiment of your faith.

Her one failing is that she cares too much what you think of her. She is more
than a lapdog of evil and you should treat her as such and name her your chosen,
regardless of how much I abhor your faith and purpose.

Greetings Morius,

I write this on request of your delicious burning light that is Viera. She
has gone to great lengths to embed herself in the lives and hearts of others.
Teaching those below her in power so they might gleam an ounce of her
brilliance. Thera would be a brighter place and thankful she steals all of
that light for herself. You are lucky to have a gem that shines so brightly
within in your Church. She is a true testament to beauty incarnate.

Signed,
Merittet Cherryblossom

I write this missive of my own free will and of sound mind.

For many, many years I have had the pleasure of being graced with Viera's
presence within the lands. I am told she has many traits that those who look
on her find appealing, her looks, her charm. I can say that I admire her
determination and the displays of trust she, a tainted giant, has shown me
a lightwalking assassin. Surely a glimpse of the kindled tinder of warmth
That resides even in the hearts of the darkest of men, and women.

I mean dark figuratively.

Viera, for her own part has always shown the importance of sincerity.
Both in word and in action. Qualities that all Therans should aspire to.
Even when beset at all sides I have never once seen her disparage or
otherwise degrade the character of another. Even after losing her great
big powerful weapon to some dirty stinky criminals (SAD) she has carried on
with an admirable sense of vigor.
