Ckol for example, had striking, was awesome in PK (except that I can't hunt for shit...) and was INSANE on mobs. Man, I had no bigger issues with soloing the crimson dragon and Tiamat etc before I got dragonslayer... (dagger/staff/spear, striking, dance upon souther, arial, defender.)
