Before you stands a tall, majestic minotaur. His ebon fur coating
his entire body. Beneath the fur ripples of muscles, resemblant of
iron bands dance across his torso. Two log-like arms sway easily at
his torso, huge gnarled hands clenching ceaselessly at his side as
large veins flow easily up his lower arm to his biceps. A trunk of a
torso sits upon his waist, tall, strong and stout. A light coat of
black fur shimmers along this as well, leading down to a firm waist
and long, muscular legs ending powerfully in ebon-capped hooves. His
head sits upon his neck, the face of a steer. A large, chocalate brown
snout pokes out of his face, a silver hoop piercing looping his nostrils
together. Beady black eyes peer observantly from their visage over his
strongly boned countenance. Two ears poke out sharply, directly behind
them are two long, sharp horns. They complete two circles before they
end menacingly over his head.

The Edge of a Woodland Grove

taken shape into a great impenetrable wall of shrub and to push your way

A Junction in the Dwarven Forest
  Here the stunted trees seem to have split in three directions.  A clearing
can be seen to the west and through the humid gloom you can see lights and 
hear a commotion even further westward.  From the ground sprout more of the 
stunted trees, somehow stopping just short of full growth.  The bark appears
rough and thick, probably good for fire-wood.  You notice the ground is 
scuffed and appears to have been well-traveled.  The natural sounds of the
forest continue to fill the air as everything seems in place.  Still, there
is a nagging feeling that you have yet to see everything in these woods.

     Scattered puddles of fresh blood cover fallen leaves and broken twigs.

The Herbary
  What looks like a half-finished house stands in the center of a 
small clearing here.  The north and west walls and the ceiling of 
the structure stand strong.  The other two walls however are not 
there.  You can see the walls that do exist have a number of dried 
plants hanging from them.  The rafters of the roof are also covered 
in hanging dried plants.  Small trails lead to the south, west and 
east.  The north wall of the house blocks any progress in that 
direction.
