How do you know said storm giant was killed after Padraig died? Maybe Istdinen healed it? Maybe they rped after the kill? Any other goodie pc would have moved, this one didn't since it was an NPC. I see fortress guys going all out to kill evil. Yeah they harmed some goodie on the way, but the log does not show if they undid or bettered their actions. Do you know if one of them received imm-exp for the rp afterwards? How can you judge anything by a log where someone is stupid enough to sit at the temple in GALADON butcher city and heal himself with goodies in pk range, and gets battered down for it. Do scions not gang? Do imperials not gang? Do nexans not gang? Do villagers not gang? Why should fortress not gang? What if someone has a psychotic, zealous role to kill evil whatever it takes, no matter what stands in the way? What if such a role justifies getting splashed by darkness? Yeah right, according to your take on fortress rp you would imm slay them.

Whitecloak NPCs butcher all sorts of people, they are still goodies. Does that mean fortress should kill them or not kill them?

People might argue killing neutral mobs for a/b/s and gear is poor rp for fort. My gear will never come from all-goodie mobs, so I will kill neutrals for whatever I need to enjoy my game. I powergame? Yeah, right. I do. Funny how a lot of players calling out others for powergaming were never the exemplary standards of rp and non pk-padders they accuse others of being.

You might want to stop thinking of yourself as the imm guardian of rp in CF on your terms. All sorts of roles exist. All sorts of things happen.
