The End of a Forest Road
  The forest ends abruptly here. There is no gradual ending with smaller trees
or bushes and grass. The march of the army of trees has been halted and can
proceed no further. The trees at the very edge have become diseased and
pock-marked with rot. Sunlight glimmers through the canopy and shadows dance
across the leaf-strewn road as the wind causes the ailing trees to creak
mournfully. To the south, the trees seem to shrink along the line to the
road, and come to a meeting point like the fingertips of two long arms at

Dragon road leads to the north and to the east Corrine Way stretches 
past some houses.  To the south an area is roped off and sullen looking
laborers haul massives stones and dig through the hard Arkham soil.
A large structure is being built just on the edge of the city, its 
stone foundation nearly complete.

  You stand to the east of a massive cathedral of gray stone with large
spires and beautiful stained glass windows.  To the north is an intersection
and Dragon Road continues south.

  This is the intersection between Main Street and Dragon's Road.  Pale citizens
mill about a large statue of a warrior standing victoriously over a slain
dragon.  Main Street leads east and west and Dragon's Road runs north and
south.  A large cathedral stands to the southwest.  A steel ladder is set
into a hole in the ground, and a dank smell wafts up from whatever lurks
below.

two brick walls.  To the east is the impressive City Hall 
building and to the west stand the stables.
