I aim at the shifter first, then just stick as the Rangers stay. Didn't expect it to go this well. They were all very cool afterwards, so props to them, especially for no OOC shit or anything.   The dry ground slopes upwards here to form the base of a hill.  The sides of
the hill are covered in the same sparse brown scrub vegetation that seems to
blanket the rest of the land nearby, along with a few intermittent stubby
little trees that provide little shade to the sun-dried soil.  The soil itself
looks as if it hasn't seen significant rainfall in quite some time.  The
underbrush crackles as you step on the dry foliage that comprises it, and
seems to show very distinctly the passage made both by you and by other
creatures, animal and otherwise.
