But guess what? Its a game. We're here to have fun, not to compare dick sizes. I agree, its totally possible to prep to the nth degree and get an edge over a villager, but this requires ridiculous amounts of time. Its not easy for most people, and contrary to what you might want to think most of the player base does not have Kostyan's prep knowledge. Sorry, we pussies have a life to get to, and spending ten hours after every full loot just to reprep, let alone regear, is silly and stupid.

Ragers have to accept tons of deaths to crazy ganks because NO ONE WANTS TO FIGHT THEM OTHERWISE. Playing a rager isn't ballsy, its saying "I'm willing to give up several important utility abilities in exchange for the ability to flatten almost any char in a one on one situation." Sure, you'll eat tons more deaths, but by the same token each death isn't nearly as bad, since you almost always have access to call resist and spellbane. A rager with outfit gear and two average 20 weapons can easily beat down an equivalent overgeared equipment whore if that equip whore does not prep.

Yeah, sure, I can kill ragers by the truckload, just roll up one of a few empire powercombos and only fight them alone when they don't have the head, using centurions to my advantage. That doesn't make me skilled or the ragers ballsy, its just one of the primary drawbacks to being a rager.
