If I backstabbed, flee/knife, I would have traded knife damage for his kick damage (hurts svirfs!) and won, but was eager to try out my newly perfected weapontrip, and thought that just seemed easier. Instead it lagged me, I didn't hurt or lag him, and had to decide after two missed trips, do I flee and knife (had no healing preps) and hope that one more knife kills him and if not that one more SMK doesn't kill me. I didn't have blackjack or weaponbutt yet. More than anything those SMK's freaked me out.
